Description

The Qur’an contains detailed descriptions of the Hereafter, with the majority of its narratives focusing on the events after the Day of Judgment. However, there is relatively little discussion in the Qur’an about the period between death and the Day of Judgment, a vast period of time. The Prophet ﷺ provided more extensive details on this subject. In nearly all reliable collections of Hadith, various pieces of information regarding the period from death to the Day of Judgment can be found scattered. However, it was Imam Baihaqi (may Allah have mercy on him) who, in the history of Islam, was the first to write a distinct book on this topic titled *”Al-Mawt wa Ma Ba’dahu”*, which translates to “From Death to the Day of Judgment.”
