Description
Good relationships are an integral part of our lives. Our connection with Allah is often influenced by our relationships with His creation. This falls under the rights of others (*huquq al-ibad*). Treating parents, relatives, neighbors, and others with kindness and maintaining good relationships is a command of Allah. By fulfilling this command, we can become among those who are close to Allah.
In Islam, all rulings are categorized into five broad areas: *Iman* (faith), *Ibadah* (worship), *Muamalat* (transactions), *Muasharat* (social conduct), and *Akhlaq* (character). Together, these form the structure of Islam, with each complementing the others. None is less important than the others, and all deserve equal attention.
Unfortunately, while we focus on acts like prayer and fasting, we often neglect good behavior and excellent manners. However, without these, it is impossible to become a complete Muslim. Recognizing this, the early scholars (*Salaf as-Salih*) authored numerous books on the importance of refined character and noble conduct.
*”Beautiful Relationships”* is a Bengali translation of one such work. It delves into the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah regarding the importance of maintaining good relationships with parents, relatives, neighbors, and others. The book serves as a guide for strengthening our bond with Allah by improving our conduct with His creation.
May this book inspire readers to cultivate beautiful relationships and draw closer to Allah, In Sha Allah.
