The first three generations (the Salaf al-Salih) had the correct perspective on the world. As long as a Muslim views the world with their perspective, they will remain safe. However, when their vision shifts towards the West, the disbelievers, or their own desires, they will face danger. Both their worldly life and their Hereafter will be ruined. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the correct perspective on the world. Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, in his book *Kitab al-Zuhd*, discussed the perspective of the Salaf al-Salih on the world. Undoubtedly, this book is a priceless asset for the Muslim Ummah. Unfortunately, despite the passage of many years, neither a Bengali nor an English translation of this book has been published. With the aim of reflecting the correct Islamic perspective on the world, *Maktabatul Bayan* decided to translate this book. Alhamdulillah, the first two volumes, *”The World in the Eyes of the Messenger”* and *”The World in the Eyes of the Companions”*, have already been published. Continuing this series, the final volume, *”The World in the Eyes of the Tabi’in”*, has been released.
